The primary obstacle was a fragmented floor plan that disconnected the kitchen from the home’s primary living areas and obstructed natural light. The existing space suffered from:

• Limited Spatial Flow: A restrictive layout that made collaborative cooking and entertaining difficult.
• Outdated Functionality: Insufficient storage and aging appliances that did not meet the needs of a growing family.
• Structural Barriers: A central non-load-bearing wall that partitioned the room, creating a dark and enclosed environment.

Our mission was to provide a structural transformation that would align the home's aesthetic vision with modern functional requirements.

Structural Transformation & Space PlanningWe executed a strategic wall reconfiguration to open the kitchen to the dining area, utilizing natural light as a primary design element. This thoughtful design improved traffic flow and created the open-concept footprint essential for PNW modernism.

Bespoke Millwork & Custom CabinetryTo maximize every square inch, we designed custom kitchen cabinetry that emphasizes vertical storage and clean, modern lines. These handcrafted units provide a refined, personal look while offering the smart storage solutions necessary for a high-functioning chef's kitchen.

Curated Aesthetic DirectionThe styling phase involved a meticulous finish selection, layering natural wood tones with textured stone surfaces. We integrated bespoke lighting design to highlight the new architectural features and ensure the space remains warm and inviting throughout the changing seasons.
