The existing living area lacked a cohesive identity and failed to reflect the client’s unique lifestyle. The primary design obstacles included:
- Lack of Visual Depth: The space felt flat and uninspired, missing the eclectic, layered character that defines a refined home.
- Poor Lighting Integration: The room did not maximize natural light, making the interior feel disconnected from the Pacific Northwest environment.
- Underutilized Footprint: While structurally sound, the space planning did not optimize the room's flow or usability.
Our goal was to provide a curated aesthetic direction that would align the client's vision with a practical, beautiful living environment.

Eclectic & Layered StylingWe focused on a Pacific Northwest design influence, layering rich textures like natural wood, wool, and stone. This approach ensured the space felt collected and personal rather than staged, providing a true reflection of the homeowner's aesthetic preferences.
Bespoke Finish SelectionOur team provided a meticulous color and finish consultation, selecting a palette that responds to our regional light while adding sophisticated depth. We integrated custom millwork details to provide the architectural "bones" necessary for high-end styling.
Atmospheric Lighting DesignWe reimagined the lighting design to create a seamless transition from daylight to evening. By strategically placing fixtures to highlight art and textures, we ensured the room functioned as a warm, inviting sanctuary at all hours.
